Getting started

This blog is going to consist of articles about exercise and health. There will be links to websites that provide information about sports health. My first subject is blood pressure readings and exercise.

About Me

Jackie A: I completed my first 5K on September 7, 2009. I ran my first mile April 15, 2009. On April 30, 2009, I ran 2 miles non-stop. On May 12, I ran 3.2 miles non-stop. Now I'm up to running continuously for 4 miles. 2011 update: up to running one hour and 20 minutes (non stop). Hope to run another race or two this year, in fact I'm training for a 10K. Plan to run a marathon by age 65 in 2012.
